Augathella on the Highway is a well situated, convenient rest stop for travellers driving to or from Darwin, Mt Isa, Longreach, Toowoomba, Brisbane or Central NSW.  Augathella on the Highway is located along the eastern edge of Augathella, directly on the corner of the main Landsborough Highway (also referred to as the Matilda Highway tourist route) and Main Street, Augathella, the township itself is nestled immediately behind.

Augathella on the Highway is located directly on the main route between Brisbane and Mt Isa.

Approaching Augathella from the south, 5km out you will see the Charleville Turn -Off (where the Mitchell Highway meets the Landsborough Highway at a T-intersection). Keep going north along the Landsborough Highway, passing a side road 3km along on the left signed “Augathella” (that’s a loop road which will take you round the back of town and back out onto the Highway further along). Another 2km on you will see our motel units set back from the road on the left and then our BP Roadhouse next along. Come straight in!

Approaching Augathella from the north, Our BP Roadhouse complex is the first thing you will see on your right, on the corner of Main Street and the Highway. Come straight in!
